About the Show
Comedy, drama, and horror collide in this spellbinding musical adaptation of John Updike’s 1984 novel, famously brought to the screen in George Miller’s 1987 dark fantasy film starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Susan Sarandon.
In the sleepy town of Eastwick, three smart, sharp, and slightly supernatural divorcees — Alexandra, Sukie, and Jane — dream of escape from small-town monotony. One stormy night, over martinis and brownies, they conjure a wish for the “perfect man”… and unleash more than they bargained for.
Enter Darryl Van Horne — magnetic, mysterious, and unapologetically outrageous. As he seduces each woman in turn, he awakens their hidden powers and stirs rebellion in the town. But as the witches revel in their newfound freedom, they discover that magic always comes with a price.
Darkly funny, deliciously subversive, and bursting with showstopping numbers, The Witches of Eastwick is a wickedly entertaining musical thrill ride — proving that sometimes, sisterhood is the strongest magic of all.
