Comedy, drama, and horror collide in this spellbinding musical adaptation of The Witches of Eastwick. Originally a 1984 novel by John Updike, the story was famously brought to the screen in the 1987 dark fantasy comedy film directed by George Miller, starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Susan Sarandon.

In the sleepy New England town of Eastwick, three smart, sharp, and slightly supernatural divorcees — Alexandra Spofford, Sukie Rougemont, and Jane Smart — find themselves trapped in the monotony of small-town life. One stormy night, over one too many martinis and brownies, they cast a wish for “the perfect man”… and the results are more than they bargained for.

Enter Darryl Van Horne — mysterious, magnetic, and unapologetically outrageous. With a bang (literally), he takes up residence in Eastwick’s grand historic mansion, much to the horror of the town’s moral watchdog, Felicia Gabriel. Seducing each woman in turn, Darryl unlocks their hidden powers, freeing them to revel in their desires and take playful revenge on the town that shamed them.

But magic always comes at a price. As the women’s power grows, so do the consequences — and when Darryl turns his attention to Felicia’s daughter, Jennifer, the witches must decide if they’re ready to face the devil himself.

Darkly funny, deliciously subversive, and packed with showstopping numbers, The Witches of Eastwick is a bewitching musical thrill ride — proving that sometimes, sisterhood is the strongest magic of all.
