Why Neglected Musicals

Talent and Audience development

stageThere are so many great musicals that Australian audiences don’t get to see unless they jump on a plane. NEGLECTED MUSICALS can give people a taste of some of the best work from around the world.

Up and coming directors, ensemble players that have not had a chance to star, choreographers that may show some talent in directing and other artists - all drawn from the current professional musical theatre scene - will get a chance to stretch their creative muscles.

There are audiences that love musicals and there is the general theatre-going audience that are not too sure about the musical theatre art form (often aged 18-35). NEGLECTED MUSICALS hopes to encourage people who don’t go to musicals - or the theatre - to explore this type of live entertainment.

Tickets to Neglected Musicals presentation can be between $25 and $35 depending on the show.
